Awesome place we discovered recently. Really friendly atmosphere thanks to Phil, the bartender/proprietor. Cocktails were on point and good beer selection. We had the shrimp, sausage and steak tacos. All were really delicious. Highly recommend if in the area. If we lived here, probably be the go to spot.

Jimbo Slims is a no thrills traditional dive with quirky granny garage 90s nostalgia vibes. Its the best neighborhood bar with bartenders who are gems. The bartenders and regulars are hilarious, fun, and chill AF. We come back for the home Phil created, and for Andi, who makes the best cocktails and is hilarious. Definitely come here if you want a fun, magical night with cheap drinks :)
We love love this this little bar. It feels like you are somewhere else. The tacos are so good, and they have a huge selection of hot sauce, which I love! I love spicy foods! Everytime my husband and go......Phil makes us crack up.....he's so funny and so nice. I think he's the owner. He's so welcoming to everyone that walks in. I always love coming back to this bar....
We came here after seeing Henry Rollins stand up at The Warsaw. The staff was so nice, they even snuck a box of samoas in my bag. I made the best decision of my life coming here. We thought of maybe going back for our 2 year anniversary.
This great little place opened up near my home just a few months ago. I stopped in the other day and, like every other patron who came in, was greeted very warmly by the bartender/owner Phillip who made me feel at home from the beginning, and served me from a few fantastic draft beer list. In conversation, I realized that my birthday was in a couple weeks and I didn't have any plans, so I told Phillip I'd decided to have my friends and family meet at Jimbo Slims. He excitedly told me he'd setup some decorations, and give me and my friends a drink special. I laughed, told him I was flattered, but was honestly not expecting much. He gave me his personal phone number so I could let him know how many people I was expecting. I show up on Sunday, my birthday, and the entire bar has decorations! Cupcakes, party hats, balloons. It was amazing, hilarious, and heart-warming. He gave us a drink special, and everyone had a great time. Can't thank Phillip enough. This has instantly become my favorite local bar.
What a great experience! I come here on a Friday night before I head to another event and meet a wonderful bartender/owner. He introduced himself and gave me a drink on the house and continued to give great service the rest of the night. I definitely recommend visiting here to just meet Phil and to have a great time.
